F.lhair was established in 2010 by owner Faye, F.lhair is a busy working salon going from strength to strength in the industry following and growing with trends and new techniques. Constantly evolving with the industry and times. We provide hair services in cutting, styling, extensions and colouring. We pride ourselves on keeping up to date with our own education, recently awarded one of the highest colour qualifications with our salon brand REDKEN *Redken certified hair colourist*. F.LHair is an all-inclusive salon and welcome anyone of any age or gender. We welcome anyone here in our salon and look forward to meeting new clients. F.LHair are proud of our achievements, placing top 10 in our district for the best salon in 2022 at the prestigious hair and beauty awards, in 2023 we placed 6th ! for best of blondes and 19th for hair stylist of the year! More recently finalist for hair stylist of the year 2025.

We provide a range of platforms to our education, in person group classes at our West Yorkshire location, online -work along with us learning videos and not forgetting our digital tools and manuals to help provide everything you need to grow your business.
All our classes are beneficial to anyone needing a little more from their career as a stylist. The classes are all designed with the already qualified stylist in mind, this means if you are already advanced in hairdressing you could be looking for a more technical class which will be ready in the near future.
When you find yourself mastering the basic techniques delivered from your provider, that’s where we come in. We are the stepping stone between your basic skills and taking that further to become more confident in providing your services. I am an expert in what you need to become booked and busy as a stylist.

F.LHair Academy ?
Although being behind the chair is my first love, Education is my second. I created this Academy with crucial inclusivity of newly qualified stylists.
While being in the hair industry for 23 years I have identified a large gap of education between qualifying in hairdressing and being ready for the paying clients. Speaking as a salon owner and from a business point of view, it is very difficult to find salon ready stylists. Most applicants required more training. In terms of employment time is money, unfortunately without a stylist earning towards the salon that wage is an extra cost that has to be accounted for somehow. Equally taking time away from paying clients to train a stylist leaves you in the same position. This unfortunately creates an impossible circle for both employers and stylists looking for experience. That’s where we felt we needed to step in and provide the help support and guidance to feel confident in providing hairdressing services to your clients.

That’s where we come in, I decided to take a look at the other side of the industry and began my journey into becoming a qualified hair tutor and assessor. I worked for 3 years in a FE college, this only confirmed what I already knew, More up to date training and realistic salon expectations need to be met. This is NOT me writing off college-based education in fact quite the opposite, the underpinning knowledge you receive from this setting is crucial to the foundation of your career. Hairdressing has evolved greatly over the last decade and I feel the education is yet to catch up with this. Our courses provide a steppingstone between these two stages. We provide up to date and real salon techniques that are seen throughout the industry right now. The location is based within a busy up to date working salon, which is great for those key looks you will be already receiving interest about.
